X8 Experience

Whats going on you guys! I'm so grateful to have you here to explain the inspiration behind X8.

The title is inspired by me repeating "Divine" eight times and is in refrence to the bible as resurrection, regeneration and new beginnings.

If you enjoyed the song, I hope you're able to find your own inspiration within the lyrics.

Who am I really??

Prior to writing & releasing "X8" , there were many others. What I was writing before this song sounded Angry, Sad & Depressed. That wasn't the artist I wanted to be, so being determined to create led to introspection.

What was wrong?

Why were the songs good but not something that truly reflected me?

-Well, because God would never want pain to be your reflection.

That being said, they didnt reflect me.

Okay. So you want to create but you don't want to create that..

Here is where positive introspection, turned into questions, questions that required reflection.

1. Why are you Angry Aly?

2. Why are you Sad Aly?

3. Why are you depressed?

Are you letting the expectations of other dictate how you move?

-Yes.

Did you allow others fear to project onto you?

-Yes.

Did you value the opinion of others more than your own?

-Yes.

Did you do anything you didnt care for to avoid disappointing someone else?

-Yes.

Did you let them tell you it wasnt possible?

-Yes.

Did you let others tell you what your version of happiness should be?

-Absolutely.

I was so stifled by what surrounded me. Sometimes I still am. Healing is a never ending journey. But since creating the lyrics to this song, I continue to breakthrough & it's God given. However I had to choose Him. I now create in exactly the image God made me.

Concluding Thoughts

I want to exit by saying. No one is to blame in these types of scenarios. We are all designed with our own destinies and lessons. Its what you give power to that matters most. Feed your mind "Righteous Power" & lean into change.
